Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is the diagram of Shanghai No. 102 Middle School. It is 720 meters long and 480 meters wide. It is pretty large middle school.
Its gate faces south. When you enter the gate, a beautiful flower garden comes into your view. Here are various plants and flowers and also a pool with green water and fish swimming freely. On the left of the garden is the school library building and on the right, the lab building. Go further and you will see a four-storeyed teaching building standing in the middle of the school. It was teaching offices at both ends. Behind the teaching building is a large playground and beside the playground is the dining hall. Trees are building is a large playground and beside the playground is the dining hall. Trees are planted all around the school. How beautiful the school looks! Welcome to visit our school

Good morning. It’s my great honor to be given the chance to give the speech.
Thank Mr Zhang and the city government for inviting me to speak. And thank all of you to attend this activity.
Everybody knows that this park will be opened to honor those who died in the terrible disaster on this day 33 years ago. We should say that all of you are very lucky to have survived. But never can we forget those who helped you do the rescue work. They dug out those who had been trapped and buried the dead.
They also helped build the new city. They built new homes and offices in only seven years. For this work, many workers and soldiers lost their lives. We should show our greatest honor to them.
When I first arrived in the city yesterday, I came to understand why Tangshan was called “Brave City of China”. What you have done made the whole world surprised. Look at the tall buildings and the beautiful environment. How brave you are! I think you should always be proud of the city.

Our headmaster is a famous Chinese educator, Dr. Lin. We have a staff of teachers composed of both Chinese and English. Some of them are specialists in their own lines and some have had teaching experience of over ten years. They are all conscientious and assiduous in their teachings, because they respect their work. They treat their students as their own kindred.
Especially worthy of mentioning is our library. It has a rich collection of books of various sobjects, either in Chinese or in English language. Our laboratory is also well equipped with scientific apparatus, physical and chemical. It is quite sufficient for the scientific experiment of a middle school student.
I am proud of our school and feel fortunate to be admitted as one of its students.
