因果分析法英語作文

Unfortunately, one of my friends has become a workaholic. However, with the following reasons, it is not that surprising for me.

Firstly, he is a guy who is always trying to prove himself in front of others. Besides that, I do not know it is his habit or it is because he does not trust anyone else, his aim is to finish every task by himself. At last, he seems unwilling to spend spare time with his family or his friends who could have provided some fun and help to relax him.

Therefore, he is now a workaholic.

不知道你要多少字就組織了一下寫了這點 實際上就是寫一個因果關系的文章 提供給你前后的因果

Why Do We Learn English

我們為何學英語

As the society is developing fast and China has joined the WTO, English is becoming a “bridge” of communication between China and the world outside. With the wide use of the Internet, it is necessary for people to learn English. Now, besides the native speakers, the number of people studying and using English is larger and larger in the world. English has become a real world language. As a middle school student, we learn English not only for the need of going to a high school and finding a job in the future, but also for the developing of our country.

The Advantage of Bicycle Riding

騎單車的好處

Bicycle riding has many advantages. It is the least expensive way of traveling

apart from walking. If you travel by bicycle, you don’t have to buy gas as you must when you drive cars. Besides, it develops much less mechanical troubles than a car.

Bicycle riding is especially good for health. It is good exercise. If you go to work by riding a bicycle instead of driving or taking a bus, you can have a better chance of getting enough exercise you need every day. Bicycling is also good for our environment. It is less noisy and does not pollute the air. I am glad to have ridden a bicycle to school when I studied in the high school.

Why Should We Play

我們為什么需要游樂

Play is an important part of life. Some people ever think that the purpose of life is play. Most Americans spend their holidays playing and more people come to believe that play is the lubricant of life. Open the newspaper, and you will see a great deal of news about movies, concerts, art exhibitions, television programs and all kinds of sport events. Indeed, if you will just step outside, you will see people heading for the park for picnic or taking their children to the zoo. During the weekends, life is play.

Why Do We Need to Reduce the Population

我們為什么需要減少人口

Overpopulation is a serious problem in many less developed countries because it can bring about lots of trouble for us.

In the street we can see a number of people. We can’t breathe the fresh air. When we catch the bus or the train, there are so many people that it is very difficult for us to catch it. When we want to buy a ticket for a film, we may stand in a line for a long time. The more people there are on the earth, the more rubbish we have. And the air and the water are polluted more quickly. And one day the earth can’t stand so many people. So we must reduce the population.

英語作文因果結構有幾種類型

Dude the answer above sucks, so here:

Here's my problem with writing a column about "workaholism." I'm just not that into it.

When did workaholic become a dirty word? I'm guessing when someone added the -aholic part.

Say what you will about compulsive overworkers, they're self-motivated. And they're not quitters. They're also not especially popular these days. When did workaholic become a dirty word? I'm guessing when someone added the "aholic" part.

Of course, making light of this problem has always been a big part of the problem. When Toronto clinical psychologist Barbara Killinger started writing about workaholism almost 20 years ago, no one was taking the issue very seriously, a fact reflected in the subtitle of Killinger's groundbreaking 1991 book, Workaholics: The Respectable Addicts.

"These people were considered bright, intelligent, ambitious and therefore successful," Killinger told me recently. These same people also kept showing up in her private practice --overworked and stressed out. Still, back then, she said, "nobody even knew what workaholism was."

Now, workaholism is, as one business consultant put it in a recent article in the WebMd newsletter, "the addiction du jour in American corporations." In this country, a 2007 Statistics Canada study found that nearly one in three Canadians between the age 19 and 64 identify themselves as workaholics.

What may be more telling is the way hard work is starting to be stigmatized. The last few years have seen a proliferation of books like How to Be Idle, Doing Nothing, The Importance of Being Lazy, and In Praise of Slow.

There's also Timothy Ferriss's The 4-Hour Work Week: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich, a kind of bible for the burnt out. It made it to the top of the Wall Street Journal bestseller list in 2007.

According to Ferriss, a journalist, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and the 2008 winner of Wired Magazine's Greatest Self-Promoter of All Time prize, it's time to "define laziness anew" and "focus on being productive, not busy."

Lazy, in other words, is the new busy.

This works for me most days -- excluding the day last month I had lunch with Lyman MacInnis. MacInnis is a chartered accountant and is credited with inventing executive coaching in Canada. He's given financial advice to everyone from Anne Murray to Bobby Orr. And his new book, How to Succeed at Anything by Really Trying, is all about taking the initiative. Not just really trying, but really trying hard.

MacInnis began writing the book five years ago, but he'd had the idea for a long time. He remembers being displeased by changes he began noticing in the business world in the 1980s.

"People started thinking they could glide through life. There was this sense of entitlement I didn't like."

He's also concerned that now, with the economy in tatters and unemployment rising, people are still going to think they can wait for something to happen.

"And they can't. They have to go out and make it happen," MacInnis said.

He isn't preaching a four-hour workweek, but he's not preaching an 80-hour workweek, either. In fact, in the '90s, he noticed the pendulum swinging in the other, equally unpleasant, direction.

He saw young professionals becoming workaholics. He saw families being busted up because of it.

"I know a guy who left his wedding reception and went back to the office for a couple of hours. Incredibly, the marriage is still together."

So in How to Succeed in Anything by Really Trying, MacInnis puts the emphasis on "anything" -- home, family, school -- and not just business. His chapter on workaholism is called Beware the Addiction.

"I've been involved in a dozen or more interventions with workaholics, often with CEOs, where I've had to say to them, 'Hey, look, you're ruining your own life and your family's life. You're becoming narrowly focused. You're becoming a boring person.'"
